A British prankster tricked Donald Trump’s head of communications into a blazing email argument just hours before he was sacked.
Targeting spin doctor Anthony Scaramucci, the anonymous joker posed as former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus.
Scaramucci hit headlines last week after branding Priebus a “f*****g paranoid schizophrenic.”
Apparently convinced he was corresponding with the real Priebus, Scaramucci said his former boss had been “hurtful.”
He wrote: “You know what you did. We all do. Even today. But rest assured we are prepared. A Man would apologise.”
The fake Priebus wrote back: “I can’t believe you are questioning my ethics! The so called ‘Mooch’, who can’t even manage his first week in the White House without leaving upset in his wake. I have nothing to apologize for.”
Trump’s comms chief said Priebus should read more Shakespeare, particularly revenge play Othello.
The prankster, who has previously hoodwinked Bank of England chief Mark Carney and Labour MP Diane Abbott, boasted that the prank was “easy”.
Tweeting under the name @Sinon_Reborn, he describes himself as a “lazy anarchist”.
He said: “It’s a bit worrying how easy it was to breach the security.
“Imagine if I had more sinister intentions.
“I’m not some hacker sat at his computer at night — I’m just a guy who found an email address online and thought I’d have a laugh.”
During a string of attacks on White House staffers in recent days, he managed to convince the President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner he was Donald Trump Jr.
He also convinced Scaramucci he was Jon Huntsman Jr, Trump’s pick for Ambassador to Russia.
And he tricked Huntsman into believing he was talking to Eric Trump.
But an attempt to trick Eric Trump into believing he was corresponding with his older brother, Donald Jr, was unsuccessful. Trump replied saying he had sent the email on to law enforcement. – Mirror
