The Black Death could return to wipe out millions of people in Britain and America if terrorists spray an antibiotic resistant form above a major city, or leak it into a water supply.

The plague killed a third of Europe’s population during the Middle-Ages but scientists have warned a new, more aggressive form could be introduced.

Concerns have been raised after research papers were found hidden away at Mosul University, detailing experiments being carried out on human beings. Liberating troops made the grim discovery after the fall of ISIS in the Iraqi city.

So far no evidence has been found of an advanced biological weapons programme but clearly somebody has been thinking about it and the intent is clear.

Such attacks on civilians are almost impossible to prevent. Although not connected to Islamic Terror a release of poisonous Sarin on the Tokyo subway system in 1995 badly injured 6000 people.

A similar attack with a contagious and deadly disease, for which there are no known cures, would be catastrophic.

As ISIS is falling apart in Iraq and Syria it is expected the death cult is likely to turn its attention to Europe and America in an attempt to wreak further havoc in their continuing jihad against non muslim people.

World Health Organisation researchers have calculated that releasing a 50kg aerosol cloud of plague bacteria over a city the size of London and its surrounding areas could cause at least 300,000 to become immediately infected with 72,000 perishing from the nightmarish disease.

And that would only be the start. The ensuing spread could wipe out half of the city in months.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US believe plague is a major concern along with anthrax, smallpox, and viral fevers like Ebola and Marburg.

Bacteria has long been used as a weapon or war. During Middle-Age sieges plague infested corpses were catapulted over city walls in an attempt to cause a deadly outbreak among defending soldiers. And it often worked.

Ancient Venetians attacked enemies with toxic liquid taken from infected patients and during the Second World War Japanese airmen dropped clouds of infected fleas on stubborn defender.

The main advantage bacteria has over poison is that it spreads organically. One attack will continue to infect thousands until a cure can be developed, creating panic and civil unrest in the meantime. – Albert Jack
