EU Election Candidate tries to glue himself to MOVING automatic doors

European election candidate fails to glue himself to Bristol City Hall automatic doors (Image: BRISTOL LIVE)

A VIDEO of an EU Election Candidate attempting to glue himself to the moving automatic doors of Bristol City Hall has social media laughing.

The hilarious footage shows the moment climate change protester and EU election candidate Dr Larch Maxey tried several times to glue himself to the doors of Bristol City Council headquarters.

The University research fellow struggled to succeed in his quest as the doors kept opening before he could get there.

Incredibly the ‘doctor’ didn’t work out the problem immediately and instead tried multiple times to glue himself to the swinging doors.

It appears he also failed to consider the consequences, much less the danger, of his moronic behavior.

Such as; ‘what might happen to you after you super-glue yourself to an automatic door whilst you are IN RANGE of the operating censor.’

But Maxey only gave up when he realised he could not get to the doors fast enough before they opened.

Fellow climate change activists then abandoned the original plan to glue themselves to the city building and resorted to unravel a banner that read a message for EU election candidates to declare a climate change emergency in their respective countries.

Maxley, a product of the UK’s failing education system, claims to be a Visiting Specialist in the Faculty of Business at Plymouth University.

Genius is also standing as an independent candidate for the South-West region in this week’s European Elections.

The group of activists is standing for the European parliamentary elections under the banner Climate and Ecological Independent candidates.

And the video clip is the perfect reminder of why you should NOT be voting for any of these low-intellect idiots.

It comes after weeks of protests staged by anti-climate change activists Extinction Rebellion across the country.

The climate change protesters glued themselves to the London Stock Exchange and climbed onto the roof of a DLR train at the station, calling an end to their 10-day climate change protests at the end of April.

The five protesters who climbed onto the DLR train held signs saying “business as usual = death” and “don’t jail the canaries”.

Diana Warner, 60, was one of the activities who glued herself to a train.

She said: “It’s bizarre we have to do this in order for governments to listen to the scientists.”

A woman went so far as to glue her breasts the road outside the Goldman Sachs offices, while others temporarily blockaded the London Stock Exchange by glueing themselves across entrances to the trading hub in the City of London.

They were un-attached before being taken away in police vans, with Scotland Yard saying 26 people had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespassing.

Some 1,130 people have been arrested during the protests which started on April 15, while more than 10,000 police officers have been deployed.

An Extinction Rebellion spokesman said: “We’re asking the government to take action to address the climate emergency.”
